Handwoven by two expert craftspeople from the finest pure new wool, the Kesar's dappled appearance adds subtle flair to any interior space. What's more, this elegant rug collection is Care & Fair certified, so you can be sure it was ethically made, using no child labour. We recommend ordering our special underlay to make sure it never budges, too. Our Kesar collection is handwoven by two expert craftspeople using the wool of about two sheep. Each piece takes up to seven hours to weave on a traditional pit loom, and is completely undyed.

Kesar grey Melange rug
The Kesar grey melange rug has absolutely changed the look of my lounge. The colour is varied with warm shades of grey. The loop design allows for texture which I prefer in a rug. The use of mix textiles work well together for long term wear. The addition of cotton and jute reduces the shedding of the wool which can occur with 100% wool rugs. Make sure you purchase the underlay as it has kept my rug from slipping and has given it more softness underfoot. I am so pleased with this rug I am going to buy the cream/grey for my kitchen dining table. Beautiful!
