With so many different rugs to choose from, it can be tricky to decide what to go for, so firstly we recommend considering what the room's primary use is: kitchen rugs and living room rugs have the greatest demands in terms of durability, whereas bedroom rugs need to be extra soft.

Ideal materials for living room rugs are cotton and wool. Living room rugs must be easy to clean and quick-drying, so choosing cream rugs or white rugs won’t be an issue. WHICH SIZE TO CHOOSE FOR A LIVING ROOM RUG?

Choosing the right size of lounge rug is dependent on the size of your room and the look you want to achieve – we stock all rug sizes, from large rugs to small rugs. For a really impactful look, choose large living room rugs that fill the majority of the floor space – a large grey rug will look great as the centrepiece in your room. For a more subtle take on a living room rug, go for rugs in soft colors such as a small cream rug.

Most of our rugs are available in sizes 5ft x 7ft, 6ft x 8ft and bigger rugs in 7ft x 10ft. We also stock runner sizes, perfect for your hallway or as a rug in front of the bed.

Small rugs for bedrooms may work better in a runner style or circular shape – the fluffier, the better.
